We are a city family with a country heart living in the Las Vegas valley.
Mitch is a third generation beekeeper (Serviss & Sons Honey of Nampa, Idaho) and has brought that knowledge to our backyard and beyond. Now he is teaching his kids and grandkids the importance of healthy hives, quality bees, and pure raw honey. Everyone in the family has a part in this sweet adventure.
Raw honey is a goldmine of health benefits! It has never been heated, so it contains all of its natural enzymes, antioxidants, and local pollen.
Pop's Honey is pure raw honey and comes in a glass bottle.
It is all local to Las Vegas, Nevada where the bees’ pollen & nectar sources are as diverse as the community itself. From fruit & citrus trees to urban gardens, rosemary bushes, desert plants, and wildflowers.
This unique variety produces a delicious and flavorful honey.
Store honey at room temperature – your kitchen counter or pantry shelf is ideal. Storing honey in the refrigerator accelerates the honey’s crystallization. Crystallization is the natural process of glucose sugar molecules aligning into orderly arrangements known as crystals. It is not an indicator of spoilage, impurity, age or quality..
If your honey crystallizes, simply place the honey jar in warm water and stir until the crystals dissolve, or place the honey container in a pan of water, with the lid off and set the stove top at simmer, the crystals will dissolve back into honey! Do not boil or put honey in the microwave as this destroys the health benefits of honey.
